GO2WOOD is an umbrella corporation working to encourage the use of wood as a building material in the construction and design industries. GO2WOOD covers a range of initiatives that collaborates with national and international actors from the construction industry, to support the direct usage of sustainable wood in actual construction projects.
The following prototype initiatives have been launched so far:
- High-rise made from wood in Denmark
- Partnership with selected stakeholders
Chora Connection is facilitator, fundraiser and catalyst in developing the prototypes.
In autumn, Chora Connection gathers the construction industry, the design- and architect industry, the foresting industry and more, at a large, international conference at KADK in Copenhagen, to develop new prototypes for the sustainable construction industry.
Besides workshops, panel debates and talks on design, construction, wood, sustainability and more, the Canadian architect Michael Green has been invited to be the keynote speaker.
